I left off with a phone call to my mom. I may have sworn on the phone, and she probably didn't appreciate it, but she let it go because she knew how scared I was. So to continue on, My mom told me to find a bucket to put over the cockroach. She said that that would probably be fine until my husband came home or until our friend flew into town. I didn't have a bucket in the house. They were all in the rec room, and I wasn't going to go back in there. I found our biggest Seafood boil pot. I went back to the door, and every time I went back to the door the Cockroach started freaking out again. I put the bucket on the dryer, which is in our kitchen, and I just couldn't do it. I knew I wasn't going to be able to get that close to it. I didn't want it to be able to get out. I don't know why I was afraid of it biting me or anything. I know that they can't bite, but I totally don't believe it. Also, at this point I didn't know that cockroaches could fly. If I would have known that, I would have not even been trying to get it out of the house. I would have just left myself. Once I realized I wasn't going to be able to put a bucket over it, I tried to find something that I would be able to kill it with. I started looking for cleaning chemicals or bug killing chemicals. All I could find that I knew wouldn't hurt my carpet was a carpet cleaning spray. Looking Back Now, this probably wouldn't have done anything to it. I probably would have made it Fly and then I would have been passed out on the floor out of fear. At the time though, it made me feel much better. I opened the door to go spray it. When I opened the door, it was gone. Now I know that I had a cockroach in my house, and I didn't know where it was. This is when I took this whole thing to the next level. She said that if I lost it, they weren't going to be able to do anything about it. I didn't have the heart to tell her that I had already lost it.
